What To Look For When Choosing the Best Wordpress Themes For Business?

You may have heard how WordPress is a very popular platform for bloggers, and most likely, most of the blogs that you read every day are made with WordPress. Although this is the best blogging software available, thanks to some great theme developers, WordPress is now also the best platform for business websites.

WordPress is the faultless website platform for any business of all sizes. It's flexible, open-source design means that WordPress is flexible enough to meet almost all business requirements that can be seen.

Here's my suggestion about the key elements that you need to check before you buy a business WordPress theme.

SEO

SEO also known as Search Engine Optimization, commonly is an important part of the success of every business that wants to promote itself on the Internet. WordPress is pretty good in SEO out of the box. But some business wordpress themes include additional SEO features, sometimes without the need for plugins.

Your life will become easier if you can easily make changes to the theme page titles, metadata, and other key SEO elements. If your theme does not include the SEO feature itself then you should check whether it is compatible with leading plugins such as "All In One Seo" (most themes are ok).

How easy to use

Not all themes are the same. You will be in the backend of your WordPress site pretty much and you want to make sure that it will be easy to use all the features of your new theme. Some themes have a well-designed admin and post options box on WordPress. This is good because it usually works directly on your website. You also want to make sure that if possible the theme supports widgets and the WordPress 3.0 menu system. Again these two features make adjusting the basics of your site very easy.

Some themes don't. They may require additional technical knowledge, perhaps the use of many specialized fields or other complicated plug-ins.

How easy to adjust

You might want to adapt your theme to your own taste and style. Some themes come with various color schemes and style sheets making it easy to create your own site. Some Themes like Thesis and WP-Remix literally have hundreds of different combinations that make the layout and style almost unlimited.

Does it have the main business element?

If you are in business, you might want to encourage visitors to take action on your website. This can register with your mailing list to contact you for further information (instructions).

To encourage this, there are a number of key elements that you might need. Here are some that I think are the most important.

· Space for Testimonials around the site

· Room for a call to action or a clear statement

· Contact form

· Delete contact details in the header such as phone number

· Our portfolio or work page to showcase your work clearly

Summary

When buying a new business WordPress theme as long as you are clear about your own requirements and how the theme will fit your marketing message, you should be fine. Look for themes with these key features and you will easily get a new business website quickly and easily.
